Song of Liberation

Someone has come and whispered into my ears,
"The new dawn will come!"
Beyond the curtain of darkest mist
New golden light will laugh.
No more agony and lamentation,
No more tears flowing from the eyes.
From beyond the scope of all pain,
The freshness of life will float anew.
The realm of affection and compassion
Of hope and love and sweetest dreams
Will enter the inner core of all minds,
Will remove the blackest shadows of darkness.
