The King of Nepal

National News Service, Kolkata: At long last we have a leader in South Asia who has the courage of his convictions. The King of Nepal has had the courage to step in and take over the reins of power before his country slid into total chaos. As usual the powers that be start screaming about the murder of democracy.

The King was seeing that his country was being racked by the Maoist insurgency. The so called democratically elected Government was incapable of stopping this insurgency. One thousand school children were kidnapped in one day for the purpose of indoctrination. We did not hear any protests from the defenders of democracy, such as George (Moron) Bush or Tony (Poodle) Blair or our soft spoken and ineffectual Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. People were being murdered and the economy was being destroyed by blockades and general strikes.

Our effeminate Home Ministers like L.K. Advani, who cannot even control his party members, and Shivraj Patil who is currently seeing the spread of violence throughout India increase manifold are in no position to advise the people or King of Nepal. General N. C. Vij the outgoing army chief has stated that infiltration from across the Line of Control has come down to a trickle, then why is the terrorism in Kashmir on the increase. Assam is again facing violence, Manipur is on fire the whole of the North Eastern States are in ferment. Our Home Ministers are incapable of taking the decisions that are necessary to wipe out the violence. The King of Nepal immediately after taking the reins of the Government has sent the army out to take all necessary measures to put down the Maoist rebellion by all means necessary. Maybe our leaders should go and take some private tuition from the King.

We sit idle while Bangladesh has become a safe haven for all the criminal activities in India. Hindus are being chased out, and their population as a whole is being exported to India. We show our displeasure by not attending meetings. We should make the sari and skirts the official dress of all Indian males.

The world is taking about the murder of Democracy in Nepal. What Democracy. The type practiced by the United States. The African Americans are daily harassed, beaten, and shot by police because of the color of their skin. Where people are detained year after year without recourse in a base illegally seized from a sovereign state like Guantanamo.

Ballot papers are designed to confuse voters, a Country where you can become President by losing the popular vote, and the Supreme Court which cannot rise above partisanship.

Do we want to hoist upon Nepal the Democracy as practiced in India. Where the CPI(M) has retained power by thoroughly corrupting the bureaucracy and police, threatening violence and large scale manipulation of the voters list, and sitting idle, as demographics are changed by the unchecked hordes arriving from Bangladesh, because it swells their vote bank Do we want the to have the Democracy as demonstrated in Bihar and Jharkand where guns rule the roost, and democracy is dividing the country along the lines of caste and religion.

Democracy where once elected the politicians can change their affiliations for money and all the other good things of life.

Naxalites who are really criminal gangs with a social hue. A democracy where apathy is King and now days voters participation has fallen to 45 percent.

Do we want the Nepalese to enjoy the Democracy as practiced in Bangladesh. Where the sole criteria are murder and mayhem and total and abject corruption. The policy of murder adopted by Khaleda Zia we hope that will backfire on her, as she makes Catherine de Medici look like a choir girl.

Should the Democracy of Pakistan be the model for Nepal. Mussaraf has exiled, killed or jailed the opposition. The country is rife with sectarian violence and he remains in power because of his abject surrender to the Americans. No President of any Country ever personally phones to congratulate an American Secretary of State, Mussaraf has done it. His only other means of remaining in power is encouraging hatred against India and talk big about his Military prowess, which in actual fact was Kargil where many more Pakistanis were killed than Indians.

Who are the democratic friends of the United States of America, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the Gulf States, Kuwait, Iraq where the elections are held under a State of Emergency with 200,000 coalition troops breathing down your neck.

The King of Nepal has taken a right step in securing his Country and all right minded people should wish him well. If the King of Nepal is successful other Countries in the region should consider reverting back to Monarchy. The Kingdom of Brunei is doing well. We should all consider that under a monarchy change can be brought about very easily by getting rid of the Monarch and we need not resort to widespread violence.
