Netaji_Birthday1.JPG

During World War II, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose took the opportunity to unite all the Indians of Southeast Asia and declare war against Britain in order to free India from the clutches of British imperialism by military power. However, Nehru and the Indian communists began a propaganda campaign against Netaji, slandering his character by describing him as "Tojo's dog", and as a result he could not achieve the requisite support from the Indian masses and was forced to retreat from Mairang and Manipur. Finally, due to the surrender of Japan, he went underground using the cover of a plane crash on 18th August, 1945. However, the mystery of his disappearance has to this day remained a mystery, due to the secrecy of Nehru and his successors.

Afterwards Jayanta Das, Organizing Secretary, Amra Bangalii Central Committee conducted a street meeting, and told the collected audience that “Netajii formed a planning commission immediately after being elected as Congress President in 1937. He was re-elected again in 1938, thereby defeating Gandhijii’s candidate, Pattavi Sitaramaiya, but owing to non-co-operation of pro-capitalist Congress leaders such as Gandhi, Nehru, and Patel, he resigned from the Congress president-ship. The British later kept him under house arrest at his Elgin road residence from where he eventually escaped in disguise and reached Kabul. From there he continued to Germany through Russia. At the invitation of Rashbehari Bose, he came to Singapore by submarine and took over leadership of the Azad Hind Fouz (Indian National Army). During World War II, he took the opportunity to unite all the Indians of Southeast Asia and declare war against Britain in order to free India from the clutches of British imperialism by military power. However, Nehru and the Indian communists began a propaganda campaign against Netaji, slandering his character by describing him as “Tojo’s dog”, and as a result he could not achieve the requisite support from the Indian masses and was forced to retreat from Mairang and Manipur. Finally, due to the surrender of Japan, he went underground using the cover of a plane crash on 18th August, 1945. However, the mystery of his disappearance has to this day remained a mystery, due to the secrecy of Nehru and his successors.

Netajii also advocated socialism, whose origin is not taken from the books of Karl Marx but from Indian spirituality and culture, and which is similar to the new socio- economic philosophy called PROUT - Progressive Utilization Theory - propounded by the great philosopher, Shri Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar. The socialist movement of Prout-Amra Bangalii is fighting for forming an exploitation-free, self-sufficient, socio-economic zone called “One Bangalistan,” which will thereafter expand to “One India” and finally “One World.” Dalen Roy also described Netajii’s life – history and called for the cooperation of all the people to build Bangalistan.

Netajii’s 110th birthday anniversary observed by “Amra Bengalii” at Tatanagar

Netajii Shubhas Candra Bose’s 110th birth anniversary was observed by “Amra Bengalii” at Tatanagar on 23rd January, 2007. A well decorated and colourful procession with flags and festoons of “Amra Bangalii,” headed by about 30 volunteers of “Bangalii Vahinii" and about 70 members of “Amra Bangalii,” started from Sakchi “Gol Chakkar,” proceeded through Sakchi main road, Court road, finally reaching Ambagan, where the guard of honour was given to the statue of Netajii. Thereafter Samir Singha, Gour Mohan Guha and Lalit Mohan Mahato garlanded Netajii’s statue on behalf of “Amra Bangalii” and "Bangalii Vahinii”. From there, the procession continued until it reached “Sakchi Gol-chakkar” where a public meeting was held. Chief speaker Angad Mahato, member of Amra Bangalii Central Committee, told the audience that Netajii’s life was full of “uncompromising struggle” against British–American imperialism so as to make India free, although the solders of the I.N.A. under his leadership were bound to retreat at the end of World War II due to the severe disaster caused by the atom bombs dropped by American planes on Nagasaki and Hiroshima, Japan. At this time, Netajii went underground under the cover of the air crash that is claimed to have occurred on18th April, 1945, but which in fact did not occur on that date, as was recently proved by the Mukherjee commission, whose decision now supersedes the decision of Shahanawaj Khan commission and Khosla commission appointed by Nehru and Indira Gandhi respectively. From the two earlier reports it is clear that Nehru and his successors were involved in a conspiracy against Netajii. Shri Mahato also told that Netajii believed in Socialism, whose origin was within the thoughts and culture of India – which are alike with the new Socio-economic Theory “Prout”(Progressive Utilization Theory) impounded by the great philosopher Shri P. R. Sarkar. The other speakers were Tarun Sarkar, Rekha Mahato, Gour Mohan Guha, Sankar Chakraborty, Narayan Sen and Nandalal Mahato.

Amra Bangali (meaning "We are Bengalis") is the political party in West Bengal working to estabish a PROUT economy on the ground in that region. They work for economic and political democracy. The party works in West Bengal, Tripura, Bihar, Orissa, assam and Jharkhand - all Bengali-speaking areas. It works towards the following: (1) Restoration and development of Bengali language and culture; (2) Economic self-sufficiency; (3) Self-determination in the socio-political field; (4) Re-organization of the territory of Bengal with all like-minded people having respect for Bengali language and culture, and name this new geographical area as "Bangalistan." The Amra Bangali party is working for economic democracy based on spreading cooperatives. For this very reason, it faces direct opposition from the Communist Party in West Bengal. At present companies from outside Bengal come in and exploit the people economically. Furthermore, refugees occupy 200,000 jobs in the jute mills, leaving thousands of local Bengalis without jobs or means of survival. Millions of rupees leave Bengal annually. Nearly 70 percent of the land and homes of Kolkata are owned by non-Bengalis. Bengal's precious minerals such as iron and coal are sold to other states, and Bengal is forced to purchase such basic staples as oil and sugar from outside the state. These are only a few of the injustices which Amra Bangali highlights and aims to correct.
