NATIONAL NEWS SERVICE (KOLKATA): The Anglo-Saxons and the Portuguese/Spanish are perhaps the most arrogant and in many ways a despicable race have perfected the art of false propaganda which to a certain extent infected the other European countries. It is no surprise that the master of false propaganda in recent times Goebbels was an European and German to be more precise. Let us look at the some of these lies that they have spread and we the Asians/Africans the gullible races have swallowed lock stock and barrel and keep propagating these lies to our future generations in the form of History lessons.
The biggest of the lies is that Christopher Columbus discovered America. A lie that has celebrations and taught in history books throughout the world. The Americas were discovered by the native people who lived there. They had been living there and developed civilizations and cultures when Christopher Columbus's ancestors were sill swinging from branch to branch in trees. Captain Cook, it is taught, discovered Australia and New Zealand. These places have been inhabited for thousands of years. The Portuguese and Spaniards looted and decimated the native people whose civilization was far superior to theirs, perhaps even till this date. Their actions in Africa were even more inhuman.
To all this the motive was the same looting, stealing and enslavement, and this under the garb of converting the heathen to Christianity. With the sanction of their church thy could commit no sins. Their depravity knew no bounds. Recently it came to light that that an African male was stuffed and kept in a museum and called el negrito. It is only in the 1990's that someone realized that maybe things had gone too far and held a quite burial in Botswana.
The human race originated in Africa and they went from this continent and spread throughout the world and learned to live in harmony with nature. All the great discoveries which the Europeans and the people of European descent claim were probably invented in China, India, Egypt, Mesopotamia and the basis of all modern mathematics and philosophy all emanated from non European countries. Travelers like Marco Polo, stood in awe when the saw other civilizations.
The Europeans stand in awe at Stonehenge, yet structures far more superior in engineering and artistic values existed in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. The statues on Easter Island are far superior to what any Europeans can show.
All these people had an intimate knowledge of Astronomy, when the Europeans scratched their heads when they looked in the sky. Arab dhows were criss crossing the seas and developing trade when the Europeans were suffering from Hydrophobia, and were scared to fall off the edge of the earth. There are no records that except for the Europeans anybody thought that the world was flat. The first humans would not have ventured to all the corners of the earth if they thought it was flat, and if they had any fears they would fall off the edge, they would have never gone on and on.
What is the crown jewel of the European colonization the United States of America.
A country with a large population of felons, drug addicts, criminals, sexual perverts, serial killers, and there is a reason for this. Who were the settlers, like the French foreign legion, the colony attracted the criminals on the run and other undesirables. The way they went about eliminating the native inhabitants clearly shows their real character, and this criminal streak shows up in Irak. There are good Americans but there voice has been silenced, and technology is where it is today because they had the money and bought the brains. Further George Bush has this uncanny ability to bring out the worst in the Americans.
After the atrocities committed in Abu Gharaib where prisoners were physically and sexually abused, Guantanamo Bay, where people are held for years on end without any charges, Vietnam where dangerous chemicals were used and the Vietnamese are still paying the price, My Lai is still vivid in everybody's memory, private prisons run in Afghanistan where people were arbitrarily killed, the active help to Israel to kill the Palestinians, and the list could go on ad-infinitum, we have Falluja.
The United States has taken on itself to be the moral guardian of the world. George Bush and his pet dog read poodle Tony Blair are busy pontificating to the world the moral values and the path that everybody should follow. Even in the olden days the Knights in England or elsewhere had a code of conduct in war. Even in the so called dark ages certain basic principles were followed. In the age of Mahabharata one did not slay an enemy who was down and injured.
The Geneva Convention clearly states the rules to be applied in the case of enemy injured combatants and treatment of prisoners. It does not have any opt out clause. Yet in front of the whole world we see an American soldier kill an injured enemy combatant who posed no threat, being shot. Further injured combatants were disarmed and left to die bleeding in a mosque.
This is probably not an isolated incident. The difference being that this was captured in vivid video. The next question is where are those bleeding hearts and media people who were so horrified at the events which occurred in Somalia when an American Black Hawk Helicopter was downed. Is Hollywood going to make a award winning movie showing the atrocities being committed in Falluja. Channels like BBC and CNN are so very apologetic about the soldier who committed this war crime. They kept on emphasizing that the soldier did not know what to find inside and whether the injured was armed or not and basically promoting the idea that this soldier was stressed out. Why were not these criteria used when judging the events in Mogadishu. The combatants were being shot at from the Helicopter and they too were stressed out, and the downed soldiers in the Helicopter were armed.
George Bush and his poodle who are so ensconced in Christian value and probably know the Bible by heart. It is said that Thou shall reap as thy sows and do unto others as you want them to do to you. Next time Americans soldiers or civilians are killed they should remember what they have done in Falluja. They say that 1000-2000 insurgents were killed, translated this means that probably 100-200 insurgents were killed and the rest are civilians.
It is time that George Bush and his poodle are sent to The Hague to keep Milosevic company.
