National News Service, Kolkata, 4 March 2005: Angry NDA members stall both houses of Parliament. NDA members demanded the restoration of Parliamentary democracy in Jharkand.

NDA members shouting slogans against UPA chairperson Mrs. Sonia Gandhi decrying her role in the installation of Sibu Soren Government in Jharkand. The Speaker Somnath Chatterjee was forced to adjourn the House till the 8th of March.

Meanwhile Jharkand Governor met the President A. P. J. Abdul Kalam in New Delhi today, and after prolonged discussion the Governor has brought forward the day on which the Government has to establish its majority. The BJP leadership has decided to continue the agitation both in and out of Parliament.

In Goa the Pratap Singh Rane Government today won the vote of confidence by17-16 votes following the Protem Speakers casting vote.
