The response from India, spineless protests. The powers that are, probably all have family in the United States of America, and they enjoy benefits which might be jeopardized if they protest too loudly. The humiliation of Indians in the USA is nothing new. George Fernandez the Defense Minister in the previous NDA Government was stripped searched.

When the USA introduced finger printing and photography for citizens of selected countries, Brazil immediately retaliated by imposing the same procedure for US citizens coming to Brazil. Did this cause any economic damage to Brazil, of course not, but they showed that they can stand up to their much more powerful neighbor.

When the moronic President of the United States of America sent a even bigger moron to Cuba to look after their interests in that Country, during the Christmas season put up a Christmas tree in their compound on public view with a number 75 written beside it representing the purported number of political prisoners in Cuba. The Cubans initially reacted diplomatically and asked for the removal of this offending sign. When the American Idiot refused to comply, the Cubans put up large posters of the torture of Iraqi prisoners in Abu Gharaib, and exposing the Americans of the real hypocrites they are.

If Brazil and Cuba can stand up to to the Americans, why cannot the Indians do the same? The main reason is that those Countries are run by patriots who put the interest and pride of their Country first. In India the prime criteria of being Prime Minister in India, is that if you see a British Prime Minister, your head should recline by 45 degrees, and if you see an American President it increases to 90 degrees.

Rumsfeld the Secretary of Defense in the USA has been exposed as having a direct hand in the torture of Iraqi and Afghan prisoners. Would any Indian politician dare to stand up and say we will boycott him? Of course not, this may affect the chance of their children getting jobs with defense contractors or the speedy clearance of their green card applications.

Here is the USA dictating to us about our elected representatives, and religious freedom. The USA is the country inhabited by descendents who tried to take the country by murdering the natives who had been living there for thousands of years. When this murderous plot failed they sent them to live in reservations akin to concentration camps.

This is the Country which abuses human rights in Guantanamo Bay, and which have prisoners exported overseas, so that they can be tortured. Would our Government publish a list of these war criminals and insist that they be produced before the International War Crime Tribunal in La Hague. Of course not our American masters may get angry, and cancel their visas, and they would not be able to fully enjoy their foreign jaunts.

If the Government of India had any guts they would nominate Narendra Modi to lead the Indian delegation to the United Nations general assembly, and if he is refused a visa ensure that all meetings in the future be held in Geneva.

The problem is that all our politicians are of the same hue. They are all self contented, and only have mock fights for public consumption, like the wrestlers we see on TV. Nobody really ever gets hurt.
