The Glorious Evolution of Humanity

Thousands of years ago, the darkness of the evolutionary night began to fade at that moment when the first ape-like creature came down from his home amidst the branches of towering trees and slowly shuffled out onto the flat, grassy land below. This primordial human being did not clearly understand why he came down. Something in his churning body chemistry made him move in a new direction. In his brain – a brain different from others in his immediate family and even from those of his hoary ancestors – the seed of humanity was born. And in his strangely shining eyes was the glorious secret of that hidden dream of newly born humanity.

Though African Americans have made progress under the aegis of American civil rights ideology, they still lag behind non-blacks in earnings and wealth. Not only that, in the key category of ownership of economic institutions, they consistently end up with less than one percent of business sales and revenues.

This makes the African American community deeply subservient to other ethnic and racial groups in the U.S., not in a position of economic strength, not only in spite of, but because of the civil rights ideology. The renowed Bangladeshi poet Mohammed Abdul Khaleq demanded Bengali should be introduced in United Nations as an official language.

Another political season in Russia is opening quite evenly; there are no storms and cataclysms. But some political experts sound the alarm and warn of coming troubles. Director of the Institute for Political Research Sergey Markov, chairman of the National Strategy Council Valery Khomyakov and Director of the Institute for Regional Problems Maksim Dianov have organized a press-conference to warn of the menacing threat. Sergey Markov says the political experts want to help the Kremlin and community understand that main objective of the authority must be forming a strong anti-oligarchic coalition by the year of 2008 to prevent a coup.

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Suicide bombers inflicted another day of mayhem in the capital Thursday, killing at least 31 people in two attacks about a minute apart that targeted Iraqi police and Interior Ministry commandos. The carnage left nearly 200 people dead just two days.

Guwahati (NNS): The former Assam chief minister Mr. Prafulla Mahanta, who was recently expelled from the Asom Ganaparishad, floated a new regional party under name and style of Asom Ganaparishad (progressive) following a day long meting of his supporters in Guwahuti on 14th Sept.

Leading out the resolution of the new party meeting in Guwahati, the former Assam minister and Hardcore Mahanta supporter, Mr. Gunin Hajarik said they had dicided to name the new party as AGP (P).

This past week saw a Category 5 hurricane called Katrina hit the shores of Biloxi and New Orleans and completely submerge these two cities. The information is now available that very likely thousands are dead in New Orleans, as 60,000 people, according to New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin, are unaccounted for.
