Insincerity

|

"The great enemy of clear language is insincerity. When there is a gap between one's real and one's declared aims, one turns, as it were, instinctively to long words and exhuasted idioms, like a cuttlefish squirting out ink."

George Orwell : English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950

The Human Spirit

|

"I'm talking about that spark that's deep inside all of us, urging us to keep going, to be bigger than the sum of our parts, to keep reaching for something better, richer, more meaningful and satisfying than what is - or what we're told can be. I'm talking about the Human Spirit. This spirit's our natural democratic impulse that tells us to rebel against the no-good powers that keep shoving past us, stepping on our feet, telling us to get outta the way.

"It's part anger... but the bigger part is hope, a small but constant flicker of belief that we really could create a place, a society I mean, that practices what it preaches. And sometimes, the harder they try to push us back, the brighter that little flicker gets inside us, until it's fueled by enough anger and hope that it becomes a hot flame, and we begin to push back. That's what's pretty special .... the human spirit has a chance here."

"It's an ache, a welling up of white-hot passion for something bigger than another day of work, paying the bills.... When's the last time any politician reached out to tap that caring part of us?"

Jim Hightower

Courage

|

"The opposite of courage is not cowardice, it's conformity."

Jim Hightower

Educate

|

"Educate and inform the whole mass of people ... They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty."

Thomas Jefferson
President, USA 1700s

Keep One's Eye Fixed on the Goal

|

"The movement and the path, the means and the chariot are all inseparably linked. The path is not always easily accessible, smooth and littered with flower petals; nor is it always inaccessible, thorny and covered with stones. One must keep one's eye fixed on the Goal. This Goal provides inspiration, supplies the means for forward movement and makes the little lamps of life infinitely effulgent. Since eternity this very Goal has provided and is providing inspiration to all and will continue to do so in future; and by revitalizing the life-force as if with a flow of water, it will make the earth ever full of sweetness, and at the same time it will keep the triumphant flag of humanity flying on top of the golden mountain peak. So let one's vision be fixed on the goal. There is no necessity to think of anything else."

Ideate on the Supreme

|

"From place to place, from age to age, the elixir of imortality has been flowing forever. Through the medium of human structures this message of immortality is transmitted onwards. So no human beings should ever belittle or slight themselves, rather they should make rigorous efforts to become worthy mediums (media). The wise and intelligent ideate less on their defects ond demerits and more on the Supreme desideratum."

Keep Moving Onward

|

"The Supreme recognition of the meaning of existence lies in the vigorous march from imperfection to perfection. This is as true in family, social and political life as it is in individual life. In individual life the movement from imperfection to perfection is easy to some extent due to the lack of diverstiy, but in family, social and political life it is comparatively difficult due to the extreme influence of staticity. On no account can one afford to stop moving in any sphere of existence, nor is it possible to do so."

Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar

Move On

|

"All the entities of the universe are on the move. No-one has come to rest, to lament unnecessarily. And in this movement lies the success of every entity, the colorful glamor of one's existence. So move on individually, move on collectively. Let your sincere help illuminate those who have lagged behind on the path of movement."

World Government

|

"A world government with powers adequate to guarantee security is not a remote ideal for the distant future. It is an urgent necessity if our civilization is to survive."

Albert Einstein

Justice

|

"Justice denied anywhere diminishes justice everywhere."

Martin Luther King, Jr. 1929-1968

Until That Day

|

"...that until the philosophy which holds one race superior and another inferior
is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned; that until there is no longer any first-class and second-class citizens of any nation; that until the color of a man's skin is of no more significance than the color of his eyes; that until the basic human rights are equally guaranteed to all, without regard to race -- until that day, the dreams of lasting peace and world citizenship
and the rule of international morality will remain but a fleeting illusion, to
be pursued but never attained:

Speech by H.I.M. HAILE SELASSIE I - California

Fight for Your Mother Language

|

"You should know your country and the entire globe. Know all their secrets. The fight to restore one's mother language is a fight for dignity. Each mother language should be spoken and developed. While working for the welfare and development of your country, also spend some time for the development of your mother language."

Tyranny

|

"Experience hath shewn,
that even under the best forms [of government]
those entrusted with power have, in time,
and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny."

Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826)
US Founding Father, drafted the Declaration of Independence
3rd US President

Economic Democracy

|

For the success of economic democracy, PROUT must be implemented and the economic welfare of all people must be enhanced step by step. This in turn will lead to greater opportunities for the spiritual emancipation of human beings.

Finally, it should be remembered that economic democracy is essential not only for the economic liberation of human beinegs, but for the universal well-being of all - including plants and animals. Economic democracy will devise ways and means to effect the smooth progress of society by recognizing the unique value of both humans and non-humans alike.

Leave a Trail

|

"Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail."

Ralph Waldo Emerson

PROUT

|

PROUT's system of socio-economic groupifications is a comprehensive approach to the socio-economic problems confronting society. If people adopt such an approach, society will move along the path of progress with increasing speed, overcoming all bondages and hindrances. Human society will enjoy a bright and glorious future.
